This assessment tool is intended to be used only by clinicians and/or professionals experienced in working with high-risk girls under the age of twelve who have severe antisocial behavioural difficulties.
The Early Assessment Risk List for Girls (EARL-21G) is an evidence-based, gender-sensitive risk assessment tool for use with girls between the ages of 6 and 11 with disruptive behaviour problems. They are structured clinical risk assessment guides that provide a comprehensive framework for practitioners to evaluate a range of child, family and community risk factors known to influence young children's propensity to engage in future antisocial behavior, so that appropriate treatment and risk management plans can be implemented.
Formal training on the EARL Risk Assessment tools is strongly recommended. Training can be offered at either Child Development Institute or on location. Training can also be offered via teleconference.
