Children and youth participate in waterfront activities, arts and crafts and music, an EXCEL Program with high and low ropes course challenges and a climbing wall, kayaking, canoeing, out-tripping, and nightly campfires.<\/p>\n<p>However, Towhee is much more than a summer camp; Towhee is an innovative therapeutic intervention for children and youth with learning disabilities and mental health issues (LDMH), with the added social, physical and emotional benefits of an over-night summer camp experience in a natural and restorative setting.<\/p>\n<p>At Towhee, we find creative ways to maximize our campers\u2019 enjoyment and provide appropriate, highly-individualized accommodations for children and youth with LDMH.
