It’s a transformative time for CDI. In response to the rising mental health needs in our communities, we are launching our ambitious plan to improve the mental health of 50,000 children and youth. As an advocate for children’s mental health and CDI’s valued stakeholder, we would be honoured for you to join us this September 10 as we embark on this critical journey.

Child and Youth Mental Health Services
CDI is a leader in providing a range of specialized mental health services for children and youth from 0 to 18 and their families. All of our services at CDI are guided by a strength-based approach that incorporates the family and their community into the journey of supporting the child or youth and are divided by age groups, from 0-5, 6-11, and 12-18, providing child-centric and family-focused programming by design to ensure that everyone receives the tailored support and tools they need to build life-long skills, positive mental health and resilience.
Gender-Based Violence Services
CDI’s Gender-Based Violence Services programs are open to female-identifying adults/mothers with children aged 0-18, who have witnessed and/or experienced interpersonal violence. We offer group counselling services, parenting support, shelter, abuse and trauma services, food assistance, and more to support mothers in their healing journey.
Early Years and Child Care Services
The Early Years & Child Care Services (EYCCS) support the on-going development and life-long foundation of learning, health, and well-being. Our services offer children the supports they need to be actively immersed in an environment that promotes belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression. EYCCS includes Early Learning Centres, an EarlyON Child and Family Centre, and Every Child Belongs Consultation Services.
