Session 3:
(16 to 17 year olds)

- Session 3 also includes our Leaders-In-Training (LIT) program to learn leadership skills and experience. Session 3 campers will have the option to enroll in the regular camp program or the LIT program.
Application Forms
If you and your child/youth are interested in Camp Towhee 2026, please contact intake@childevelop.ca to determine is Camp Towhee is a good fit for your camper. If your youth is determined eligible for our program based on their diagnosed learning disability and mental health need, the Camp Towhee Director will follow-up with you in regards to placing your youth at camp and completing a secondary assessment. We are excited to welcome both returning and new campers this season!
In order to be eligible for Camp Towhee, youth must meet our criteria.
Please note: All potential participants will meet with the director of designate prior to the summer to determine if Camp Towhee is the right fit.
Towhee Fees
Although we receive government funding to operate, the cost of running Camp Towhee as a high-quality program for youth with Learning Disabilities and other mental health challenges exceeds our funding.
The two-week session fee for 2026 is $3200. Fees cover transportation, laundry services, meals and snacks, activities and special events.
- Invoices: Issued in April, Due 14 days after invoice issue date
- Installments are Available for the following schedule:
- $1200: Sent Apr 17, Due May 1
- $1000: Sent May 1, Due May 15
- $1000: Sent May 15, Due May 29
Any outstanding CDI fees must be paid to enroll in Camp Towhee.
Receipts: The therapeutic program will be facilitated by trained program staff with clinical oversight. As we are not providing direct clinical services or counseling, receipts will reflect participation in the program only and will not include a registered clinician.
