EarlyON Centres

EarlyON Child and Family Centres

CDI operates Parkdale-High Park EarlyON Child and Family Centre (CFC) and welcomes families with a range of services and resources. At our EarlyON CFC, parents, caregivers, and children can engage in fun activities, get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development and connect with others in the community.

The EarlyON CFC offers a variety of drop-in and registered programs and services for parents, caregivers, and children under the age of six.  All programs and services are free of charge.

Toronto Children’s Services is responsible for the planning and administration of EarlyON services, following guidelines set by the Ministry of Education. The Centre’s mandatory core services, as outlined by the Ministry of Education, are:

• Engaging Parents and Caregivers

• Supporting Early Learning and Development

• Making Connections for Families

EarlyON Child and Family Centres are staffed with Registered Early Childhood Educators who respond to parent/caregiver concerns, and make referrals for more specialized services as required.

Parkdale-High Park EarlyON Child and Family Centre

Parkdale-High Park EarlyON CFC provides an environment that engages parents and caregivers to strengthen adult-child relationships, support parent education and foster healthy child development.

The EarlyON CFC is staffed with Registered Early Childhood Educators who respond to parent/caregiver concerns.

Programs and services include:

  • Early learning and literacy programs
  • Programs that build responsive adult-child relationships
  • Public Health led programs
  • Access to a Toronto Public Health nurse
  • Community Resources and Services
  • Families are referred for more specialized services as required

Parkdale-High Park EarlyON Child and Family Centre is located in in the Dundas West and Keele (Junction) neighbourhood at 2918 Dundas St. West. For information, please contact 416-762-3700.

Our child care centres and EarlyON Centre follow all Provincial and Toronto Public Health guidelines and practice enhanced health and safety protocols.

EarlyON Registration

If you are a new participant to our EarlyON, you will need to register for our program in person.
