About Us
CDI operates four Early Learning Centres in diverse communities across Toronto. Our centres are enrolled in the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care (CWELCC) system which commits to lowering child care fees for families and increasing access to high quality child care programs. Each Early Learning Centre has a service agreement with Toronto Children’s Services to provide subsidized child-care spaces for families who may need assistance.
Our centres are licensed by the Ministry of Education and are regulated by Toronto based-services to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding all requirements of the Child Care and Early Years Act and the Toronto Assessment for Quality Improvement.
Our Early Learning programs provide children with positive learning experiences in an inclusive, responsive, inquiry-based environment. Our programs provide engaging activities that promote positive self-regulation while building life-long resiliency skills and well-being. Children are encouraged to explore their natural environment through daily routines and interactions. Our Directors and teachers are Registered Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants.
