Black History Month Reading List

Reading is an excellent way to enrich our minds and expand our horizons. Books can teach us not only about our past, but give us a vision of what our future might become. Sharing books about Black history and Black visionaries can open our eyes to the wonderful contributions made by the Black community, empowering children of diverse backgrounds to reach for the stars.

No matter the time of year, these are some of our favourite children’s books to share stories of Black history, empowerment and positivity.
